bad luck

went for work yesterday and was determine not to get hurt in any form
being extra careful
watching every step and every action

was making pancake roles and being extra careful when handling the knife
and lady luck decided to bail on me for guy luck
the guy behind me was deep frying some stuff and he accidentally splashed hot burning oil behind my arm!!
i felt my flesh cooking
the burning sensation was beyond bearable +.+
just kept my mouth shut as nothing could reverse what has happened

lady luck came back to me when guy luck was an arse for the rest of my morning shift..

night shift started at 4.30pm
determine not to get hurt again
being extra careful and stayed away from any threat
was plucking chicken feathers from hairy chicken wings
i realise the chicken wings are very colourful
some pale colour
some purple colour
and some brownish

being bored and tired, decided to have some fun
started to think of logical explanation to explain the different colours of the chicken wings
i came to a conclusion
purple chicken wings were being drown to death
white chicken wings were anemic
and brownish chicken wings were plainly not fresh

was laughing in the inside and all of a sudden
HOT!!!!!
the boss came in while holding a hot boiling bowl of soup and she slipped
and guess what... soup splashed on my calves
-.+

any of you guys want to send me some talisman for luck???

Me > working!

Finished school at 2pm today and headed back to Toowong(where i leave) straight after PASS class.
Walk around the food court thinking on what to grab for lunch, and also went for a little job hunting. Attempt to look for a job failed all the time; they need people who with experienced and most of the jobs needed a resume to be handed in. And if i id had a resume, it would be practically empty; no job experience, no recommendation and all those sort of stuff.
Headed back home and decided to get lunch from the Sushi Station restaurant, which is located right across the street from my place.
Had some sushi to take away and headed to the counter to pay.
I asked the boss if there is any job vacant, and she said yes.
Before she offered me the job, she wanted to have a look at my student and working visa, and also my tax file number.
Went home grab all the visas and tax file number and went straight back and showed it to her. She offered me the job on the spot and asked me to start work on that day.
I started work at 4.30pm till 10pm today.
Exhausted, but happy and proud of myself. I earned $49.50 today :D
I get paid $9 per hour...
My first job

Well i got some very minor burnts from cooking pancakes and some rashes and itches from peeling and cutting prawns on my arms and wrists.

Selfish humans

Water restriction doesn't seem to bother some selfish Australia.
They think that they're cars are much more important compare to other living things that actually needs the water.
Grass are turning brown, plants and trees are dying.
It really pisses me off watching some neighbours laughing while washing their cars.
People are trying hard to save water and they are actually LAUGHING while washing their cars.
They do not understand when the Australian government had announced publicly that car washing is ban.
Such selfish people.

pain?

it hurts every time
it really does
but whom am i to complain
even if i complained would you do anything to make things better?
even if you did try to help makes things better it always causes more pain to be inflicted upon me
i wish i could turn a new leaf over and start all over again
there isn't any doubt that it would be different compare to this one
grey's anatomy season 3 episode 19
tears of fear ran down my cheeks
as i knew it could happen to me
no matter how hard i try to run away from it,
it may hunt me down
taking no hostage; straight for the kill

no matter how much it hurts
i would still have to bare with it no matter how great it is
running away from pain would be like running off a cliff plunging straight down to death
others have experienced
greater pain and not utter a single word or complain
whom am i to complain?

Animal Biology :D

Had a great time in my PASS class for animal biology today.
They made us did some riddles on phylum/sub phylum/super class/class and all, based on our choice.
The riddles were to be read out loud to the others to guess.

My riddle
I'm first in my super class,
I could be your knight in shining armour,
Watch me sink once i stop,
Chew chew chew i have to when it comes to meals.

Hehe was happy when they said my riddle was good :D
I'm progressing in class and enjoying my courses and also the new friends i made

BTW answer to the riddle is:
Placodermi (armoured fish)- sadly they are extinct already.

memoir of a fairytale gone wrong

Once i was a princess by Jacqueline Pascarl

Very interesting book.
I loved it and also hated it on the other hand.
I loved the way she managed her life with her fucked up family.
I hated the way she exposed Malaysia's religion and also Terengganu's royal family.
Well, despite the hate, the way she exposed the prince of Terengganu and what a 'great' Muslim he is, is a real eye opener.

I do not want to ruin the story for you.
I won't be surprise if Malaysian Government would ban the book, if you would like a copy and can't get one, i can help you buy one :D

malaysia plans tough tobacco law

Reading news off the net and this story caught my eye. Studies had been made and percentage of female smokers have raised by two times the amount. Being a smoker got difference being a male or female one meh? Smoker is a smoker lah.

Anyways, copied this off the text.
"The price of a pack of 20 sticks of cigarettes is now 7.40 ringgit (2.15 dollars) compared with 7.0 ringgit (a year ago)," Lee said, according to the newspaper
Malaysian government really trying to 'toughen' up the tobacco law, by rising the price by 40 cents. Hmmm would it really stop people from buying cigarettes again?

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Ludwig Van Beethoven

Drove my mom to Indooroopilly shopping center today. Went shopping, well actually we decided to go and window shop only, but we can't hold back our shopping temptations especially with all the irresistible sales going on.
Went to Kmart (like Parkson), and i decided to browse through the dvd section, then my mom came and browse through the cd section. Mom found some of her kind of musics, and they only cost $2aud per cd... she bought a few, then i went browsing thorugh too and guess what i found?!!! Tin collection of Mozart and Beethoven, $11.95aud each tin, 5cds in a tin, COOL!!!
Enjoy and am in love with classics
hehe plan to blast classics into Elaine's ears when she comes over to Brisbane tomorrow

Water crisis!!

Level 5 water restriction in Brisbane. This sucks big time, worst than our drought last time back in Kota Kinabalu (it was like almost/more than 10 years ago). We only get 140 liters of water a day :'(
If we exceed the limit, we would be fine an amount of $5000!! and the government would come and shut the water supply to the unit.
They made some studies and research, in order to survive with 140 liters of water per day, we are only allowed to shower once a day! That one shower that we can take have to be half the time taken during our normal shower.
Back home (paradise!) I shower like countless times, now i feel so icky and sticky.
Car and boat washing would be against the law starting on the 9th of April.
I've done studies and making some statistic (with my very limited knowledge on statistic), if this continues for several months, Brisbane would have the highest percentage of dirty cars and boats.
How sad.. any of u guys would like to donate me some water?

Women = thrash??

I was watching a documentary flick on TV the other day about Islam in Saudi Arab.
Something shocked me deeply.
How women are treated, it seems as if women have no other better purpose in this world but give birth and please their man?

In Arab, women can't enter any restaurants they wish to. Restaurants or cafe (eg. Starbucks) are being labeled or has sections. Family section or the normal section, some plainly do not allow women in at all. In hotels, women can only order room service, they can't enter any of the cafes or restaurants there.

An all girls school in Saudi Arab was being engulf by flames, everything was being licked by flames. Students and teachers we trying to save their lives, but weren't allowed out of the building because they weren't using their 'abaya' (sorry if I've misspelled it), black robe that covers every sight of flesh except their eyes.
-.- speechless
Life has no value at all? Isn't it just ridiculous?

They showed more but I did not wanted to witness anymore as it really hurts and as a woman, it hurst seeing other women being treated like 'THAT'.

I'm sorry if I've offended any of you guys... but I'm just speaking my mind out
With out women would there be men???

every breath i take i tend to struggle
tantrums i pour out like mad, making me like one (mad woman)
confined myself in total silence,
took a dip into the pool hopefully the water would cool down, which did

if this phase of my life was told on a tapestry, it would be flooded with evil and demonic features
my immortal element took a plunge into hell staining itself with every negative element known to the universe
the look in my eyes are murderous, a stare would put anyone down

today the clouds hang over me
a day that plainly puts all force on me to make it a living hell

hanging on by the very edge

hope keeps me strong, as tomorrow would be a brighter day for me

++

AAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You made me 'stronger'?

I do not know how to explain what I'm going through now, it's one of those moments my body took a 1000m dive into the earth.
Everything single inch of me hurts,
My heart is racing
My lungs are struggling to breath
Insufficient supply of oxygen in my blood stream
The dizziness i experience is one that i never felt before
My pupils dilate, eyes feeling dry
My soul colours itself black
Every single nerve in me wants to scream
How could you say those words to me
How could you think of it
How did it even occur to you to suggest to me such taboo remedy
I rather live with what i have than try fixing it
Are you that desperate to push yourself to such limits?
I guess me giving up part of my wonderful life wasn't enough for you.
Or is it a gimmick to push myself to desperation too?
To give up all that i have now?
Is it what you want? So that you would be happy?
My heart is broken beyond repair, this moment of sorrow is engraved deeply into me.
My already harden soul adds another layer of armour over it, making it harder to penetrate.
A mask thicker than the last, I shall create.
The mask that i would wear over the real me.

RIP

Speaking of bugs (Elaine's latest entry),
went to harbour town with my mom, bro and 2 cousins last Saturday. Half way shopping, we decided to make a pit stop at nandos for lunch. Before i started digging in, i went to the sink located in the joint to wash my hands. Next to the sink, there were a stack of mineral water cartons, guess what was lurking on top of the stack?? This very odd looking cockroach. DISGUSTING!
Just ignored it at first, tummy's priority comes first.
After the meal, went and wash my hands gain. Bloody cockroach still there. Complaint to the waiter, he smiled and went to the back to get his 'killing utensil'. Came back out with a mini dustpan with that mini broom attached to it. Gave me another smile and said, "No worries, i'll get rid of it." Next think you know, he turned the dustpan around and whack the cockroach flat... RIP cockroach. Poor cockroach...
